Department Of Hindi

Under the Bangalore University each student studies three main subjects at the undergraduate level. Students can opt for Hindi or any other language subject, only if they are already familiar with the subject in their pre-university. The language is offered only in the first two years of the undergraduate level except for the course Bachelor of Business Administration, where they study the language subject only for the first year.

The projects are on varied and interesting topics which are conducted through seminars and presentations. It gives a platform for the students to use their creativity as they have to come up with different and innovative ideas for their projects. It improves their knowledge, develops their communication skills and instills self confidence.

Students have participated in many inter-collegiate Hindi competitions and have won several awards with the guidance of their teachers.

Hindi students have career options as Hindi translators, officers in central government department in multi media news and publicity and also in teaching profession.
