    B.Com and BBM Courses
    - Last date for submission of filled in application is 09.05.2013 by 3pm
    - First list of selected candidates will be announced on 11.05.2013 by 2pm along with the day and date of interview.
    - Fees to be paid in full by cash only on the day of interview, fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  4. Admission Notice for
    BA / B.Sc Courses
    - Walk in interview for all BA, B.Sc Courses except PYEC from 07.05.2013 between 9am -12noon & 2pm – 4pm
    - Students of ISC CBSE and other boards are required to submit their filled in application only after the announcement of their respective results.

  5. Communicative Studies (PYEC) Entrance test will be held on 04.06.2013 at 9am, subject to availability of seats.

  6. College reopens on 10th June for 2nd and 3rd year students

  7. Admission forms for all under graduate and post graduate courses are being issued in the Main office.

  9. Mount Carmel Institute of Management, sister institution of the prestigious Mount Carmel College, Bangalore are recruiting a Placement Officer. The incumbent should have relevant the post graduate qualifications, at least 10 years work experience in the industry in either a HR or Marketing role. Admissions Procedure

The admission policy ensures special consideration to the differently abled, economically backward, scheduled castes and tribes, backward communities and the catholic minority. Except for these special categories, the rest of the seats are allotted purely on merit.

 

Criteria for Admission

  1. Walk-In Interviews for admission in all the B.Sc. Courses
  2. Communication Studies & Journalism combinations have entrance exams which is scheduled in the month of May.
  3. For the remaining B.A. Courses admissions is through Walk-In interviews.
  4. B.Com & BBM courses admission is based on merit.
  5. Admission to all PG courses is based on merit.

Requirements For Walk – In Interview / Admission for UG & PG courses

  1. Application form duly filled in with the two attested copies of the marks.
  2. Passport and Two stamp size photographs and One pass port size family photograph.
  3. SC/ST candidates – Caste Certificate issued by the Revenue Officer, with a validity of 5 years.
  4. Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB – Caste and Income Certificates issued by the Revenue Officer in the format prescribed by the Govt.
  5. Roman Catholic (R.C.) – Latest Extract of Baptism Certificate and Letter from Parish Priest.
  6. Full fees to be paid on the day of interview and admission.
  7. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
