Accreditation

Accreditation for MCC:

  • 1999 – Mount Carmel College went in for first NAAC accreditation. The college was awarded 5 stars, the highest grading possible.
  • 2006 – In NAAC re-accreditation, Mount Carmel College was awarded a A+ Grade.
  • 2006 – The UGC identified Mount Carmel College as a college with Potential for Excellence (CPE), one of few among under-graduate colleges in India to get this recognition.

Bangalore Univeristy norms expects Under Graduate Students to study 3 core subjects over 6 semesters. In addition there are 2 compulsory subjects over 4 semesters - General English and II language under autonomous. Mount Carmel offers a wide range of choices for II language.
